So, my server is crashing every day now for about 5 days. Issue seems to be related to power states and server 2008 r2 on the T710’s from Dell. Woopdie.
The nitty gritty of it is that the power states of the Xeon 5500’s have some problem in this build.
this is addressed in a hotfix by MS, KB975530.
This is where I gained a lot of valuable insight into the issue:

I installed the hotfix today at 10:33Am, and will reboot this evening and set the additional power states down in the BIOS:
C-State
C1E
Clock spread spectrum
EIST
Hardware prefetcher
adjacent cache line prefetcher
Watchdog
Hopefully this will solve the BSOD’s that i have been having: CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT_10_PROC
Oh, how the day is long.
